Bastille Day Fireworks Across France

Six major shows, two nights, one map. Paris fires July 13 this year — Toulouse and Marseille join it, while Lyon, Strasbourg, and Nice light up July 14. Every city below has curated viewing spots with crowd levels and pro tips.

🇫🇷 July 13: Paris · Toulouse · Marseille → July 14: Lyon · Strasbourg · Nice

Why is Paris on July 13? The Eiffel Tower show was officially moved to the evening of July 13, 2026, so July 14 can be dedicated to national commemoration of the 10th anniversary of the 2016 Nice attack. Nice itself holds a drone show — no fireworks, by design.

⚠️ Heatwave advisory (as of July 13, 2026): France is under a red-alert heatwave — 37 departments on Météo-France's highest alert. Several prefectures, including Essonne, Seine-et-Marne, Yvelines, and Val-d'Oise, have banned all fireworks through July 15, and many smaller town displays are cancelled or postponed. The six big-city shows below were confirmed as of July 13, but plans can change quickly in extreme heat — confirm with the local mairie or prefecture before travelling, carry water, and plan for shade.
