Bastille Day — Lyon 2026

Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes, France

✓
Confirmed — The 2026 Bastille Day programme for Lyon has been officially announced.
Fireworks  ·  23:00 local · Europe/Paris
Confirmed unchanged from tradition (unlike Paris/Marseille/Nice). Fired from Fourvière hill, titled 'SPECTRA' for 2026, ~22 minutes, 16 thematic tableaux built around a color/light theme. Eco-conscious pyrotechnics (cardboard shells, carbon offset, bird-protective gradual buildup). Preceded by a military ceremony at Place Bellecour from 10:00-10:30. Note: some tourism-office pages list 22:30 — this appears to be stale prior-year info; the official city site and most recent local press (both updated within the last two weeks) confirm 23:00.
