Colorado July 4th Fireworks Viewing Guide 2026
Colorado's altitude changes everything: shells burst in thinner air, break higher, and fall against mountain horizons most states can't match. Breckenridge at 9,600 feet and Telluride in its box canyon are among the highest-elevation shows in the contiguous US; Denver's Elitch Gardens, Boulder's Folsom Field, and Fort Collins' City Park anchor the Front Range while Vail, Steamboat Springs, Estes Park, and Aspen serve a mountain-resort audience.
