The City Park Soccer Fields on the park's higher west/north end are cited by the city for 'unparalleled vistas of the Front Range' — an elevated-feeling open vantage within the same venue. Face the launch area to the south/southeast for the bursts, with the Rocky Mountain foothills and Front Range on the western horizon as a dusk backdrop (mountains are west, the show is over the park, so they don't block it). Slightly removed from the densest festival crowd. Arrive by 6:30 p.m. Use the free shuttle or 104th/Christopher Fields entrance. Show type: fireworks.

The Westin Westminster
Low crowd · hotel room · Free
AAA Four-Diamond, 370-room, 12-story hotel at the Westminster Promenade (10600 Westminster Blvd), ~1.5 miles northwest of the City Park launch — the tallest lodging in the area, so upper floors clear most obstructions. Rooms are sold as 'Rocky Mountain' (WEST) or 'park/city' (east/southeast) views; for the fireworks request a HIGH-FLOOR room facing SOUTHEAST toward City Park, NOT a mountain-view room (which faces the opposite direction). View is NOT guaranteed at booking — request 'high floor, southeast/city-facing' and reconfirm at check-in. RTD US-36 & Church Ranch Station 5-min walk. Complimentary parking. Show type: fireworks.

Outdoor entertainment village at US-36 & Church Ranch Blvd/104th Ave (AMC theatre, ice arena, restaurants), ~1.5 miles northwest of the City Park launch. Open plaza areas and upper parking-deck levels give a southeast sightline toward the show; low-rise retail buildings are the main obstruction, so pick an open plaza edge or the top of a parking structure facing southeast. Best paired with dinner before the 9:15 p.m. show. FLAG: this is a distant view of the City Park display, not an on-site vantage. Free Promenade parking; RTD US-36 & Church Ranch Station adjacent. Standley Lake Regional Park
Low crowd · Arrive by 6:00 PM · waterfront · Free
Scenic 3,000-acre reservoir park ~4 miles west of the City Park launch with prairie shoreline and spectacular Front Range views. CRITICAL FLAG: this is generally NOT viable for the 9:15 p.m. fireworks — drive-in gates close one hour before sunset and the walk-in lots at 86th Pkwy/Simms St and 100th Ave/Owens St are LOCKED at sunset, so you cannot legally remain for a post-dusk show. The mountains are to the WEST while the City Park launch is to the EAST, so any view would be of distant eastward bursts over Westminster, not the mountains. Only consider if you walk in well before sunset and accept being on foot at lockup; otherwise choose City Park. $7 drive-in day fee when open. Show type: fireworks.
