All 4 Viewing Spots — Ras Al Khaimah
Al Marjan Island (public beaches & promenade)
High crowd · Waterfront · Face W · Arrive by 20:00 · Free
📍 25.6766, 55.7398
The island sits at the centre of the display, so almost any open stretch of beach or promenade gives an unobstructed view. Register your vehicle in advance or use the Exit 122 shuttle.
Sightline: Open, wide viewing angles across the Arabian Gulf toward the offshore/coastal launch line spanning Marjan Island to Al Hamra.
⚠️ Registered-vehicle-only access after 2 PM; walking from parking zones toward the beach is restricted. Very large crowds.
Al Marjan Island beachfront resorts (Rixos Bab Al Bahr, Movenpick, DoubleTree, Pullman)
Medium crowd · Paid event · Face W · Arrive by 19:00 · Paid: AED 550-1500+ pp (gala dinners/parties)
📍 25.6766, 55.7398
Booking a resort gala or rooftop party (e.g. Movenpick's Neo Sky Bar) buys a front-row, crowd-free view plus direct event access without the parking-registration hassle.
Sightline: Private beachfronts and rooftops face directly onto the Gulf and the midnight display line.
⚠️ Packages sell out; prices are per person and often exclude the after-party. Confirm the venue actually faces the display.
Al Hamra Village / Al Hamra Bay waterfront
Medium crowd · Waterfront · Face W · Arrive by 20:00 · Free
📍 25.6894, 55.7875
The southern anchor of the ~6 km display line; more room to spread out than Marjan Island and popular with families.
Sightline: Open bay frontage looking across the water toward the Marjan-to-Al Hamra launch line.
⚠️ Same registered-parking rules apply; the RAK NYE Festival grounds nearby draw big crowds.
RAK Corniche / Manar Mall (early 8 PM city show)
Low crowd · Waterfront · Arrive by 19:30 · Free
📍 25.7827, 55.9428
A calmer, central alternative to the coast: this spot sees the ~8 PM city-centre fireworks (opposite Julphar Towers), ideal for families who won't stay up to midnight.
Sightline: Views the separate early city-centre display, NOT the midnight Marjan/Al Hamra show, which is too far south to see from here.
⚠️ Do not expect the main midnight show from here; it is a different, smaller display at a different time.
Secondary Shows
20:00 — Early city-centre fireworks opposite Julphar Towers / Corniche Al Qawasim; viewable from Manar Mall and the RAK Corniche (per 2025 programme)
Low risk — Dry, mild desert winter; occasional coastal wind is the main risk. Warm daytime, cool evening.
