Live Oak Bank Pavilion / Riverfront Park Great Lawn
High crowd · park · Free
WHQR specifies beach chairs with legs no longer than 9 inches and blankets are allowed on the Great Lawn — no outside food/drink except water up to 1 gallon in factory-sealed or empty bottles, so plan to buy beer, wine and food on-site. Show type: unconfirmed — verify before attending.
Battleship North Carolina Decks
Low crowd · park · Free
Members of the Friends of the Battleship North Carolina can buy advance tickets (limited per membership level) to watch from the ship's decks — closest possible vantage to the barge and the only spot looking back at the downtown skyline lit by the show. Show type: unconfirmed — verify before attending.
Water Street Riverwalk
High crowd · park · Free
Bovenderteam recommends arriving downtown by late afternoon to lock in alfresco dining along the Riverwalk — restaurants, breweries and rooftop bars on Water Street give you food, AC breaks and the same northward view of the barge. Show type: unconfirmed — verify before attending.
