Village Park — multipurpose fields (launch site)
High crowd · Arrive by 7:00 PM · park · Free
Primary launch site at 13800 Pierson Rd. Face the open multipurpose fields north/northeast (the show launches just past the stage — tune to 88.7 FM for the synced music). Light towers and the gym building block from the wrong angle — set up on the open multipurpose fields toward the launch zone. Enter ONLY via Pierson Road; on-site parking is very limited. Use the FREE shuttle from The Mall at Wellington Green (near Macy's, from 5:30 PM). ⚠️ Shuttles PAUSE during the show — plan your departure before or wait for them to resume. Show type: unconfirmed — verify before attending.
Sightline: Open multipurpose fields north/northeast of the stage have clear sightlines to the launch area. Light towers and the gym building create shadow zones from wrong-angle positions — stay on the open fields. Zambelli show lasts ~20 minutes with high-altitude bursts visible for miles from the launch site itself.
⚠️ ⚠️ Enter ONLY via Pierson Rd — other entrances are closed. On-site parking is very limited; the mall shuttle is the reliable access method. Shuttles PAUSE DURING the show (you cannot leave mid-show by shuttle). July heat is extreme and afternoon storms are common — check RainoutLine before heading out.
The Mall at Wellington Green — parking deck / shuttle origin
Medium crowd · Arrive by 8:30 PM · elevated · Free
The Zambelli show is 'visible for miles,' so the mall's open parking and upper deck (~3.5 mi east) catch the higher bursts. Face WEST toward Village Park. Intervening trees and buildings block everything but the tallest shells from this distance. This is also the FREE shuttle origin (near Macy's, from 5:30 PM) — you can watch the distant finale here and skip Village Park's post-show exit jam. Palm Tran bus stop on site. Note: Free mall parking. Show type: unconfirmed — verify before attending.
Sightline: ~3.5 miles east of the launch with suburban trees and buildings obstructing the western sightline. Only the very highest finale bursts (the 'visible for miles' top of the show) clear the obstruction at this distance. A good fallback for those who want to avoid Village Park's crowd and get a distant elevated view.
⚠️ 3.5 miles is too far for a quality fireworks view — this is a distance observation point, not a prime vantage. The shuttle is the better way to use this lot (ride in, ride out). Post-show shuttle volume from Village Park is high; allow 20–30 extra minutes to load and return.
Hampton Inn & Suites Wellington — high-floor west rooms
Low crowd · Arrive by 5:00 PM · hotel room · Paid
Next to The Mall at Wellington Green (~3.5 mi from launch). Request the HIGH FLOOR (top is the 4th) WEST-FACING room over the lake/green space to catch the higher bursts toward Village Park — TripAdvisor reviewers note 4th-floor lake-view balconies are best. Tree lines block low fireworks at this distance; view not guaranteed. Free parking and walkable to the mall shuttle. Show type: unconfirmed — verify before attending.
Sightline: ~3.5 miles east of the launch; 4th-floor west-facing lake-view balcony rooms have the best angle over the intervening tree line. Low-floor and east-facing rooms have no view. The Zambelli show is 'visible for miles' so the very top of the display is catchable from floor 4 on a clear night.
⚠️ 4th floor is the TOP floor — only 4 stories. Tree lines at 3.5 miles distance limit the view to the highest finale bursts. Do not book non-balcony or east-facing rooms expecting a fireworks view. Walk to the mall shuttle for the actual show experience.
Pierson Road — roadside vantage (west of Village Park)
Low crowd · Arrive by 8:30 PM · landmark · Free
Open areas along Pierson Road just west of Village Park give a roadside vantage; face east/southeast toward the launch. Equestrian-area fencing and tree stands block low shells — find an open shoulder and do NOT block traffic. Park legally in nearby lots and walk in. A lower-crowd alternative to the park's main fields. Show type: unconfirmed — verify before attending.
Sightline: Roadside positions along Pierson Rd west of the park with equestrian-area fencing and tree stands obstructing the lower sightline. High and mid-altitude bursts are visible over the fencing once you find an open shoulder gap. Lower-crowd than the park's main fields.
⚠️ Do NOT stand on the road or block traffic — use the road shoulder only. Equestrian-area fencing and tree stands require scouting for a clear gap before dark. Limited roadside parking; arrive by 8:30 PM. Shuttles don't stop here — you need your own transportation.
