All 3 Viewing Spots — St. Augustine, FL
Bayfront / Avenida Menendez (between Castillo and Bridge of Lions)
High crowd · park · Free
Sit anywhere along the seawall on South Castillo Drive/Avenida Menendez where the entire bayfront becomes a 'theatre of sight and sound' synced to the soundtrack — but be in place before 8:00 p.m. because that's when road closures lock in and you won't be able to drive in. Show type: unconfirmed — verify before attending.
Bridge of Lions
High crowd · Arrive by 11:00 PM · park · Free
The Bridge of Lions deck is an officially recommended viewing perch with an elevated, head-on view of the barge — note the bridge stops opening for marine traffic after 8:00 p.m. until ~11:00 p.m., so walk on early and plan to stay through the show. Show type: unconfirmed — verify before attending.
Vilano Beach (across the water)
Medium crowd · park · Free
For a far less congested view, watch from Vilano Beach directly across the Matanzas/Tolomato inlet — you skip the downtown road closures and gridlock entirely while still getting the full 2,000-foot-high bursts over the historic skyline. Show type: unconfirmed — verify before attending.
