Pines Recreation Center — festival grounds (launch site)
High crowd · Arrive by 6:30 PM · park · Free
Primary launch site at 7400 Pines Blvd — ⚠️ NOT CB Smith Park (the 2026 show moved here). Face the open festival field toward the center/north where the show launches. Stage lighting and food-truck tents on the south edge block sightlines — sit toward the open soccer fields north of the stage. Free admission and parking; arrive by 6:30–7 PM as lots fill. BCT buses run along Pines Blvd. Show type: unconfirmed — verify before attending.
Sightline: Open soccer fields north of the stage have excellent sightlines to the launch area. Stage lighting and food-truck tents on the south edge create a shadow zone behind them — avoid the south perimeter. Overhead sightlines from the open field are clear once you're past the stage infrastructure.
⚠️ ⚠️ Do NOT go to CB Smith Park — the 2026 show is at Pines Recreation Center. July heat is extreme (feels-like 100°F+) with common afternoon thunderstorms; the 2025 event was rained out. Check city social media for weather holds. Lots fill by 7 PM.
Pembroke Lakes Mall — parking deck (elevated)
Medium crowd · Arrive by 8:00 PM · elevated · Free
The upper level of the Pembroke Lakes Mall parking deck adds elevation to clear tree lines; face east/southeast toward Pines Recreation Center (~0.3 mi). Big-box rooftops and sign pylons along Pines Blvd clip the lowest bursts — only the higher shells clear. Arrive by 8 PM, free mall parking, and exit before the 9:30 PM rush. BCT bus runs along Pines Blvd. Note: Free mall parking. Show type: unconfirmed — verify before attending.
Sightline: Deck elevation clears some of the residential tree lines between the mall and the rec center. Big-box rooftops and commercial sign pylons along Pines Blvd obstruct low-altitude shells — mid and high bursts are visible. Only ~0.3 mi from the launch, so high shells are large even from here.
⚠️ July heat feels like 100°F+ on an exposed concrete deck — arrive close to show time and stay hydrated. Exit before the 9:30 PM post-show rush. Show may be weather-delayed; check city updates.
C.B. Smith Park — historical overflow vantage (NOT 2026 launch site)
Low crowd · Arrive by 8:00 PM · park · Paid
⚠️ VENUE CHANGE: the 2026 city show moved to Pines Recreation Center — C.B. Smith Park is NO LONGER the launch site. From here you'd see only distant bursts to the southeast over tall pines and water-park structures (~1.5 mi away). For the actual show, go to Pines Recreation Center. A park entry fee applies on weekends/holidays. If used as an overflow vantage, position at the open lakefront or parking area. Show type: unconfirmed — verify before attending.
Sightline: ~1.5 miles northwest of the new launch site with tall pines and water-park structures obstructing the southeast sightline. Only the highest aerial bursts will clear the obstruction at this distance. This is a historical vantage only — the Pines Recreation Center launch site is dramatically better.
⚠️ ⚠️ NOT the 2026 launch site — do not come here expecting the main show. Park entry fee applies. The water-park structures and tall pines create significant sightline obstruction toward the new launch site.
Hampton Inn Ft. Lauderdale-West/Pembroke Pines — high-floor east rooms
Low crowd · Arrive by 5:00 PM · hotel room · Paid
Nearest branded hotel cluster (~2.5 mi west near I-75). Request a HIGH-FLOOR EAST-FACING room to catch distant bursts over rooftops toward Pines Recreation Center. This is a long-distance view and I-75 sound walls and commercial buildings block low fireworks — treat it as a backup only. View not guaranteed. Free parking. Drive to Pines Recreation Center for the actual show. Show type: unconfirmed — verify before attending.
Sightline: ~2.5 miles west of the launch with I-75 sound walls and commercial buildings in between. Only the highest finale bursts may clear the obstruction from upper east-facing floors. This is a logistics base hotel, not a fireworks-view hotel.
⚠️ 2.5-mile distance plus I-75 sound walls make a meaningful room view unlikely. Book here for sleep/logistics and plan to drive to Pines Recreation Center. Show may reschedule due to weather — check the city's alerts.
⚠️ No confirmed launch site for this city. Viewing spots shown are approximate.
