This is the metro's July-holiday DRONE show (not fireworks): a free downtown Council Bluffs street festival that caps the night with a synchronized drone light show at 9:45 PM on JULY 3. Come for the live music and kid zone earlier, then settle in with an open patch of sky overhead before 9:45. Just across the river from Omaha.
Sightline: DRONE show (not fireworks) flown over the downtown festival footprint on West Broadway; it's viewed overhead from the festival grounds and surrounding blocks, so a clear patch of open sky matters more than a compass direction (face value is approximate/overhead).
⚠️ This is a JULY 3 event (not July 4). Downtown Council Bluffs street closures and festival crowds; parking fills - arrive early. Being a drone show, an unobstructed overhead view is what counts; skip spots tucked under trees or awnings.
