Gooch's Beach (closest to launch at Narragansett Point)
High crowd · park · Free
Rhumb Line Resort: 'Gooch's Beach: This is the most obvious spot because the fireworks are set off from Narragansett Point between Gooch's and Middle Beach, so they're almost literally on top of you!' Low tide at approximately 9:45 p.m. on July 4 means more beach sand to spread out — arrive mid-afternoon for a front-row spot. Show type: unconfirmed — verify before attending.
Colony Beach, Kennebunkport
Medium crowd · park · Free
Kennebunkport Maine Lodging guide explicitly recommends Colony Beach as 'another great spot to view the fireworks' — a short drive or bike ride from Kennebunkport's Dock Square. The Colony Hotel's oceanfront lawn is the classic vantage; Colony Beach parking is easier than Gooch's on July 4. Show type: unconfirmed — verify before attending.
Kennebunk River / Dock Square waterfront
Medium crowd · park · Free
Southern Maine on the Cheap confirms viewing 'in Kennebunkport along the river' is feasible from the Dock Square waterfront — further from the launch but uncrowded, with restaurants and bars open late. Walk the Kennebunk River footpath south toward the mouth for the clearest sightline to Narragansett Point. Show type: unconfirmed — verify before attending.
