All 3 Viewing Spots — Jersey City, NJ
Exchange Place Waterfront (J. Owen Grundy Park)
High crowd · park · Free
This is the festival's main hub with the fireworks directly over the water against the Manhattan skyline; arrive by mid-afternoon to claim a railing spot, and use the Exchange Place PATH station which is a 1-2 minute walk so you skip all parking. Show type: unconfirmed — verify before attending.
Liberty State Park (Liberty Walk waterfront)
Medium crowd · park · Free
The park is huge so crowds spread out and you can often see Jersey City, Macy's, and other displays at once; take the Hudson-Bergen Light Rail to the Liberty State Park stop to dodge the parking-lot gridlock, and arrive around 5 PM with a picnic. Show type: unconfirmed — verify before attending.
Harborside Atrium / Newport waterfront
Medium crowd · park · Free
The Harborside promenade north of Exchange Place gives unobstructed Hudson skyline views with thinner crowds than the festival core; the Harborside Light Rail stop puts you right there, ideal if you want a quicker exit after the show. Show type: unconfirmed — verify before attending.
