Primary launch site and the official viewing area. CONFIRMED Saturday, July 4, 2026, ~10 p.m. Arrive by 7:30 p.m. Free parking via continuous shuttle from Eden Prairie Community Center lot; on-site parking is extremely limited. Show type: fireworks.

Round Lake Park – Southeast Beach & Shoreline
High crowd · Arrive by 7:30 PM · waterfront · Free
The southeast beach gives the strongest water-reflection bonus: shells launched from the ballfield burst to the NORTH-NORTHWEST and mirror across Round Lake's surface. Face NORTH/NW with the lake between you and the launch. Low cattails along the bank can clip the lowest bursts — sit slightly elevated on the beach berm. Lake-reflection doubling is the payoff here. CONFIRMED Saturday, July 4, 2026, ~10 p.m. Arrive by 7:30 p.m.; beach closes 3 p.m. Park free at the Community Center lot and take the shuttle. Show type: fireworks.
Sightline: SE beach gives the strongest water-reflection bonus. Face N/NW with Round Lake between you and the launch. Low cattails along the bank can clip the lowest bursts — sit slightly elevated on the beach berm.
⚠️ Beach closes at 3 p.m. for swimming; arrives for viewing. Low cattails clip lowest bursts — use beach berm for elevation. Free shuttle from Community Center lot.
Round Lake Park – Drone Show Lawn (July 3 Sparklefest)
Medium crowd · Arrive by 8:30 PM · park · Free
SEPARATE EVENT — this is Eden Prairie's sensory-friendly DRONE show, not the fireworks. A 15-minute show by ~100+ lighted drones launches from the Round Lake baseball field at approximately 9:45 p.m. on Friday, July 3, 2026 (part of free Sparklefest, 6–10 p.m.). Face WEST/NW toward the ballfield; drones fly low so keep treelines on the west bank out of your sightline. Stream the synchronized music on mobile using show code WDC2. Quieter and pet/child-friendly. Free parking at Community Center lot. Show type: drone.
Sightline: SEPARATE JULY 3 EVENT — sensory-friendly drone show, not July 4 fireworks. ~100+ lighted drones at ~9:45 p.m. on Friday July 3 (Sparklefest, 6–10 p.m.). Face W/NW toward ballfield; drones fly low so avoid treelines on west bank.
⚠️ This is the JULY 3 drone show (Sparklefest), NOT the July 4 fireworks. Stream synchronized music on mobile with show code WDC2. Quieter and pet/child-friendly alternative to the July 4 fireworks crowd.
Purgatory Creek Park Overlook
Low crowd · Arrive by 8:30 PM · park · Free
A quieter alternative ~0.8 mi southeast of the launch with broad open sky over the pond and wetland. Face NORTH-NORTHWEST toward Round Lake; the EP city water tower and a few Prairie Center Drive office buildings sit on the northern horizon and can block the very lowest bursts, so the higher aerial shells read best from here. No crowds, no shuttle wait, and easy exit. Free lot off Technology Drive/Prairie Center Drive — arrive by 8:30 p.m. CONFIRMED Saturday, July 4, 2026, ~10 p.m. Show type: fireworks.

Closest hotel cluster to the launch (Prairie Center Drive, ~0.9 mi southeast of Round Lake). Request a HIGH-FLOOR room facing NORTHWEST toward Round Lake — the high aerial shells clear the Eden Prairie Center mall and treeline, but the view is NOT guaranteed: the property does not sell fireworks-view rooms and lower floors are blocked by retail rooftops and trees. At booking, ask specifically for 'highest available floor, northwest-facing, away from parking structure.' Free on-site parking. Use the Community Center free shuttle for the full show. The smart logistics play: this is the designated free-parking lot with continuous free golf-cart/shuttle service to Round Lake Park, ~0.3 mi west. It sits slightly uphill, so from the lot's western edge you can catch the upper bursts to the WEST over the treeline without entering the dense crowd — useful for families wanting an easy exit. Face WEST; building rooflines block low shells, so this is a 'high-shell + fast getaway' spot, not a full-show spot.
