No official sky show — Delhi does not host a central public fireworks or sky show for Diwali.
No official show · Asia/Kolkata
No organized public municipal fireworks or light show. Diwali in Delhi is dispersed private/home celebration and is heavily regulated for air quality. In Oct 2025 the Supreme Court (Bench of CJI B.R. Gavai and Justice K. Vinod Chandran) temporarily relaxed the NCR firecracker ban to permit NEERI-certified, QR-coded green crackers only, sold Oct 18–20, 2025, with use confined to 6:00–7:00 AM and 8:00–10:00 PM on the eve of and on Diwali day; barium and series (laris) crackers and e-commerce sales remained banned; CPCB directed to monitor air quality. This is an evolving policy — 2026 rules are not yet set and prior-year rules should not be assumed.
