Riverfront Plaza & Repentance Park levee (downtown)
High crowd · park · Free
Stake out a spot on the levee in front of the Old State Capitol/Galvez Plaza area where the Red White and Blues Festival concert (Chris LeBlanc Band) precedes the show; bring battery-powered fans and your own chairs because the heat lingers after dark and there is no cash bar. Show type: unconfirmed — verify before attending.
Port Allen / West Baton Rouge Fourth Fest levee
Medium crowd · park · Free
Cross to the Westside for the Fourth Fest on the Mississippi River Levee in downtown Port Allen (free, runs 4:00-10:30 p.m. with food/beverage vendors and bands) — locals call it the best unobstructed view of the over-river burst with far easier parking than downtown. Show type: unconfirmed — verify before attending.
The Deck at Hilton Baton Rouge Capitol Center (rooftop)
Medium crowd · park · Free
For an elevated, less-crowded view buy a ResortPass day pass (~5 for non-guests) to the Hilton's rooftop pool deck which faces the river directly; you get the visual show without fighting the levee crowd, though you won't hear the launch booms. Show type: unconfirmed — verify before attending.
