Show date: Saturday, July 4, 2026 ·
Show time: 9:00 PM (approximate)
The City of Anniston does NOT host its own July 4 fireworks (personal fireworks are illegal within Anniston city limits); the area's main professional display is the City of Oxford's all-day Freedom Festival at Oxford Lake Park (401 McCullars Lane, Oxford), concluding with fireworks over Oxford Lake at 9:00 PM. Anniston's own July 4 footprint is the daytime Noble Street Festival / Sunny King Criterium (no fireworks). Oxford traffic note: starting at 8:50 PM no more incoming traffic is allowed and all roads out become one-way after the show; a Clear Backpack Policy is enforced and no personal fireworks, drones, alcohol, or weapons are permitted.
