John Stiff Memorial Park (main grounds)
High crowd · park · Free
Arrive when lots open at 3 p.m. for the full free festival (30+ food trucks, beer garden, kids carnival rides, Cooder Graw at 8:30 p.m.) and stay for the 9:45 p.m. drone-and-fireworks finale; if driving in is jammed, use the free shuttle from Amarillo High or Randall High rather than fighting the SW 48th St closure. Show type: unconfirmed — verify before attending.
Hodgetown Ballpark (downtown)
Medium crowd · park · Free
For fireworks on July 4 itself, catch a Sod Poodles game at Hodgetown downtown — they shoot a fireworks show after every game across the holiday weekend, so it's the reliable July 4 option while the big drone show waits until the 5th. Show type: unconfirmed — verify before attending.
Starlight Ranch Event Center
Medium crowd · park · Free
Starlight Ranch on the east side has hosted ticketed July concerts with fireworks launched from its zipline platform after the show — check its lineup if you want live country music paired with fireworks rather than the city's drone show. Show type: unconfirmed — verify before attending.
